INN 2023 Programme

Three days of a dynamic program designed for academics, professionals, students, and all those interested in innovation in the media and the creative industries.

INN2023 takes place in Tower B of Av. de Berna Campus of NOVA University of Lisbon – School of Social Sciences and Humanities (NOVA FCSH), located between Campo Pequeno and Praça de Espanha. O check-in is made on the ground floor.

Keynote Speakers

Abigail Wincott

Abigail Wincott has worked as an audio journalist and producer for over 20 years, including 15 years at the BBC World Service and Radio 4. She joined Falmouth University’s School of Writing and Journalism in 2019, where she teaches journalism and media theory and practice, specializing in radio/audio production.

Abigail has been exploring how journalists use immersive audio. In  “Spatial Audio Journalism” project she’s working with journalists to identify opportunities and challenges in the use of spatial audio, and to set an agenda for future research and development.
